Running Technique Workshops 2019
Looking to run a marathon, half marathon, 10K or another distance; maybe an ultra!
The Greenwich Running Academy, established in 2012 by Ellie Brown and Carly O’Hara looks at all aspects of your running technique and will guide and support you in achieving your New Year goals.
Seasoned marathon runners and England Athletics endurance coaches, Carly and Ellie will analyse you current running technique and will advise on the best plan to reach and surpass your expectations.
We will begin in the January with a Marathon workshop, followed by a technique and stretch workshop.
We run workshops throughout the year.
Saturday 12th January 2019 11.30am – 1.30pm £30.00 Book Here
11.30am – 12.30pm Practical workshop in Greenwich Park.
Technique analysed with video footage. Advice on how to run strong and injury free.
12.30pm – 1.00pm Strength and Stretch session at Market Studios. Tips on how to strengthen those all important muscles as well as stretching and release techniques.
Nutrition, Training plans, fueling, cross-training, kit, any burning questions you may have.
Places are limited so booking is essential.

Meet at St Mary’s Gate, Greenwich Park. Greenwich.
This workshop is for runners of all abilities and is held in Greenwich Park. Our workshops are taken by England Athletics coach Ellie Brown & Carly O’Hara who have over 14 years of of coaching experience. We will look at all aspects of running and give you personal feedback on how you can improve your running times, achieve those targets and avoid injury. Runners Stretching Workshop

For all levels of runner. Ellie Brown, Athletics coach, marathon runner, Pilates teacher and Stretch Therapist will be helping you stretch and release those tight and over worked muscles by using the foam roller, theraband (for stretching) as well as lacrosse balls, spikey balls and broom handles to release the fascia tissue around the feet, hips, legs, ITB, shoulders and spine. This workshop will give you the tools to be able to stretch and release at home. Spaces limited to 14
