Community activities have always been a major part of our work at Ellie Brown Wellness. Our community progamme varies throughout the year. See below for our current and upcoming activities and events.

 

Thursday: Free Weekly Community 6K run 19.00 to 20.00 

We have a free community run every Thursday. Meet at 19.00 at the entrance to Market Studios, Durnford Street, Greenwich Market. We have toilets and lockers to so you can leave your bags. No booking required, just turn up! 

 

Thursday: Free Mummy Walk and Talk 11.20am to 12.15pm

We are a free park-based social group for mums, mums-to-be, dads, grandparents and carers developed by the team behind Buggy Runners, the fitness session where your baby comes too. Mummy Walk and Talk is the perfect way to enjoy some gentle exercise with your baby. The walks are led by certified walk leader Angela Sweeney and her wonderful team of volunteers. Monday: Free Mummy Me Time Midday – 12.30

Bitesize 30-minute sessions for 3 weeks during January 2022:

10th January  12 noon:  Learn what human presence is and how it can help calm you and your baby.

17th January  12 noon:  How to increase your compassion & gratitude for your baby and partner/support network during those more challenging times.

24th January  12 noon:  Letting go of intentions and learning to go with the flow.

 

Last Sunday of every month: Mental Health Awareness walk/run 

Next Walk – 30th Januray 2022 9.00am

Join us and walk or run and talk your way round 3k, 6k or 9k of Greenwich Park

Everyone is welcome at this community event where we talk as we walk and run around Greenwich Park. Our focus is on support and camaraderie and how getting outside and walking or running can bring people together. You can choose your distance: one lap (3k), two laps or three laps of beautiful Greenwich Park, and you can choose whether to walk or run. Each group has a walk/run leader so whatever you do, you’ll not be alone.
