Rabiya McKeverne, BSc. (Hons), MSc, MA
Founder of Spring Coaching & Training
Mindfulness Teacher, Life Coach, Resilience Coach, Executive Coach, NLP Master Practitioner & Trainer
I have supported all kinds of individuals overcome all kinds of issues from crippling nerves for interviews and presentations; animal phobias, career paralysis; building up self-esteem; work performance; returning to work after maternity leave; work-life balance to navigating huge life decisions.
I have always been passionate about resilience and after my own personal challenging years (children, serious illnesses, burn-out, redundancy) and now the pandemic, I have become more resolute than ever to bring all my skills, knowledge and expertise to support individuals with their mental health, well-being and resilience.
I am deeply passionate about mindfulness and what it has to offer in terms of wellbeing and resilience especially during difficult times. I have been practicing mindfulness for over two decades and now teach Mindfulness including Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR), an 8 weeks course. It is the most recognised and established mindfulness course, scientifically proven to help cope with stress, depression and anxiety. MBSR courses are now recognised by National Institute of Clinical Excellence (NICE). Recently, I was invited to train with Rainbow MIND on delivering Radical Self-Care (RadSec) which builds further on MBSR courses to support not only mindfulness and significant reduction in anxiety and depression but also significant increase in self-compassion and reduction in shame and self-critical perfectionism, issues that disproportionately affect the LGBTQ+ communities but are not mutually exclusive to this community. I can bring this expertise to an individual coaching context as well as group context if appropriate and /or desired.
Whatever the goal may be (and the goal must be holistic), I am passionate about empowering people to be the best versions of themselves; by nurturing themselves and their interests and following their life aspirations AND by reaching out for help when needed.
As a Coach, I believe every individual is naturally creative and resourceful and I can support you in getting in touch with those innate resources, challenge those limiting beliefs and move you forward. Clients have often commented on my ability to put them immediately at ease and gain their trust and supporting them through change and/ or difficult times.
