Professional expertise: Chartered Society of Physiotherapy (CSP), Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC), Women’s health and musculoskeletal physiotherapist, APPI Pilates trained, Sports massage diploma
I began my career within the NHS in 2014 following graduation from Brunel University. In the past few years I began specialising in both women’s health and musculoskeletal physiotherapy.
I strive working alongside Ante- and Post-Natal women, assisting these individuals to regain their confidence day to day and aiding their return to sport and exercise. As a keen runner and cyclist, who’s had experience recovering from an acute knee injury, I can appreciate and understand the importance of safely returning to exercise!
My knowledge on Pelvic health and the assessment/advice I can offer is proven to make dramatic changes to day-to-day symptoms, your self-confidence, recovery post birth (no matter how long ago this may be) and even your symptoms during and following menopause!
I can additionally offer acupuncture and dry needling as a treatment. This can be for a range of conditions and injuries. I absolutely love assisting individuals back following an injury and acupuncture can be such a useful adjunct for this!
Some of the conditions I can help with are:
* Pregnant and post-natal recovery and return to fitness
* Pregnancy related Pelvic girdle pain or back pain
* Pelvic organ prolapse
* Diastasis Recti
* Post menopause pelvic floor dysfunction
If you are struggling with any of the above – please do not hesitate to get in contact!
