THURSDAY: 8.30pm - 9.30pm with Hannah (Physiotherapist)
This is a postnatal reformer class without your baby. The class is for women who are up to a year post birth and is suitable for c sections. We suggest waiting six weeks for a natural birth and 8 weeks after a c section however it very much depends on your own recovery. Should you wish to have a one to one assessment prior to joining the class, we can arrange that for you.
The class is taken by one of our pre and postnatal specialists; Hannah Fletcher who is a physiotherapist and reformer Pilates teacher.

A Reformer Pilates class provides all the benefits of traditional mat-based Pilates, but with extra intensity and challenge. By adding the Reformer bed, you’ll strengthen, stretch and tone your body. Sculpt and tone from top to toe, strengthen your core muscles, and burn calories as you power your way through one of these specialist strength and endurance workouts.
These classes would be suitable for those with an injury or back pain however if we would advise an assessment with a one to one if you are experiencing persistent pain. These one to one sessions are done with one of our onsite Physiotherapists or specialist Pilates teachers.
What is a Reformer? A low bed a sliding platform, known as a carriage, on which you lie, sit, kneel or stand to perform different exercises. This highly versatile piece of equipment allows for an unlimited range of exercises to be performed. You’ll stretch further and strengthen muscles and joints, using pulleys and springs to create resistance and challenge your body in new ways. This form of training creates the perfect balance between strength and flexibility.
