Greenwich Pilates has been teaching postnatal Pilates for over 14 years and is the leading studio in South East London for Pre and Postnatal classes.
These Postnatal Pilates Classes are a maximum of six Mothers and their babies. Before starting Post-natal Pilates you must wait six weeks after a natural birth and eight weeks after a cesarean. This is a guide and it is best to check before booking. These small and intimate classes. These sessions will help your postnatal body slowly recover from your nine months of pregnancy and the subsequent birth. All your births are different and we will tailor the exercises to suit your individual needs.We will look to strengthen you from the inside out, focusing on your abdominal's as well as your pelvic floor.
These classes are for for Mothers with pre crawling babies. Your baby can lie next to you on a mat or in their carry cot or you may wish to bring them in a car seat, whichever suit you and your baby. The classes are very relaxed and during the class you may need to change or feed your baby.
Our small classes of a maximum of 6 Mums are held at Greenwich Pilates studio, 225 Greenwich High Road. We have space for your buggy to be locked up outside. We provide locks however you are welcome to bring your carry cot or car seat into the studio. Our Pilates teachers are all trained in pre and postnatal Pilates, so will be on hand to help and support you through the first few months of motherhood.
