Lorraine Nicolle MSc, PGCHE, BA (Hons), Registered Nutritionist (MBANT) and Nutritional Therapist (CNHC)
Are there things about your health that are holding you back in life? Do you suffer from gastrointestinal symptoms? Or hormonal issues? Would you like to improve your mood, memory and energy levels? Are you interested in optimizing the health of your immune system?
If so, message me now; and I'll be in touch for a free 10 minute conversation on how best to proceed.
I am an experienced nutrition clinician, educator and author and I have been practicing nutritional therapy in London since 2003. I have an MSc in Nutrition and Chronic Disease (Distinction) and I focus on helping clients to optimize their health at any age. Many of my clients have complex, chronic conditions like auto-immune diseases, low bone density, gastro-intestinal disorders, stress-related conditions, long-term pain and/or severe fatigue. I also see clients who are in need of nutritional support through chemotherapy.
I use a 'Functional Medicine' approach to helping clients, which focuses on identifying problems with underlying body systems that may be contributing to signs and symptoms of ill-health and disease. (www.functionalmedicine.org).
I'm also a qualified university teacher and have taught on many nutrition and health-related degree programmes, including at the University of West London and Greenwich University. And I write and deliver seminars and lectures to healthcare practitioners who are keen to further their nutrition knowledge. (See the events tab of www.lorrainenicollenutrition.co.uk)
Being an accredited clinical supervisor, I also provide supervision and mentoring for nutrition practitioners (both in a group setting and one-to-one) and I have co-authored 3 books, Biochemical Imbalances in Disease,The Functional Nutrition Cookbook and Eat To Get Younger and I have edited the books Mitochondria in Health and Disease (by Ray Griffiths) and Case Studies in Personalised Nutrition (by Angela Walker).
