Greenwich Runners

The Greenwich Runners is a friendly and welcoming club and is the only running group based in Greenwich Park. We are a fully licensed Run England running group and train in the beautiful surroundings of Greenwich Park, Royal Borough of Greenwich. We run various running groups each week. From beginners to our all level run clubs.

If you are training for a 5K, 10K or a Marathon or just want to run with some company we are the group for you. Each sessions lasts an hour and every week we aim to build on our strength, stamina, agility and speed. The sessions also include strength training using squats and lunges as well as all important core work.

Thursday 7.00pm – 8.00pm –  6K runFREE. 

Every level. Any pace. Meet outside Market Studios, Durnford Street. There are lockers and showers.

RUN CLUB

Our run club is not advised for beginners. Our sessions are hourly long coached running sessions  and all our coaches are trained England Athletics coaches. The coached sessions will focus on key elements which you need to improve as a runner; stamina, speed, flexibility, mobility, strength and endurance. Each week we will focus on one or more of these to help improve your technique, strength and speed.

HIIT & Run A 5K or 7K run with a HIIT session thrown in every one kilometre. You don’t have to be fast and fit to join this session – just be able to run a 5K. Taken by our conditioning Coach Yasia

WEEKLY 6k RUN

These community free weekly 6K runs are lead by one of our Greenwich Runners coaches and is for all abilities. Join a group of like minded individuals, get to know your area, meet you new people and enjoy a run.

BEGINNERS RUNNING SESSIONS

Our sessions for beginners are held on a Saturday morning as an eight week course.We provide all the coaching, online tips and everything you need to achieve the 5K.
