Baby & Barre is a hybrid workout combining ballet-inspired exercises with elements of Pilates, yoga and strength training to sculpt your whole body. The 60 minute class is structured like a traditional ballet class, you'll be taken through Barre work first, followed by centre work and then Floor Barre. Each class features an elegant yet energetic combination of movements that focus on low-impact, high intensity exercises designed to strengthen your body but in a safe and effective way.
This class uses small deliberate movements that target specific groups of muscles. Muscles are worked to the point of fatigue and then stretched for relief. Proper form, body alignment and posture is stressed which in turn leads to improved flexibility, muscle tone, balance and core strength. The core work elements are designed to safely strengthen and rebuild the core muscles. Baby & Barre also integrates pelvic floor exercises which is ideal for post par-tum recovery. The class will work you hard and leave you feeling fabulous!
Your babies can be on a mat beside you or in carry cot/car seat. If you have a baby carrier, please can you bring this with you along with some water. We have a max of seven in a class.
