Buggy Runners is a fitness session where your baby/toddler comes too. We will guide new Mums through all aspects of postnatal fitness as well as support those whose babies/toddlers are older. Don't forget Daddies are welcome too. However, don't panic, you don't have to be fit to join these sessions and we won't make you run! The first class is complimentary. No need to book, just turn up.
Buggy Runners is part of Greenwich Runners and is recognised and supported by Greenwich Park, The Royal Parks, Southwark & Bexley Borough, England Athletics & Sports England.
Ellie Brown, a Run England and UK Athletics Level 2 Coach has been running buggy fitness classes for over ten years. Along with her team, they have become the area's most specialised pre and postnatal fitness instructors.
The classes are an hour long and begin with a power walk warm-up followed by a series of lunges & squats. The sessions will integrate power walking with some light running (if you feel up to it). We use resistance therabands to add strength, toning those arms! The classes finish with some floor exercises which focuses on abdominals as well as some well deserved stretching. Buggy Runners takes into account all aspects of the various post-natal stages for new Mums as well as supporting Dads and carers.

Welcome to a new friendship group for new mothers looking for fresh air, exercise, company and help and support in regards to post natal depression.
